The day I collected Mum from Lake Joondalup was quite emotional. The staff were lovely. They met me at the front door and had already been to see Mum, knowing she was sleeping. Her team was great. The carers came in and said their goodbyes to Mum, some giving her a warm embrace. They helped me get Mum to the car with her belongings. It was a lovely departure.
