Starting my career in 2010, I've grown into the role of Manager Clinical Services, a position I've held for over 10 years. My main focus is supporting our clinical team, managing various concerns, and ensuring high-quality services for our residents. Working here has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills, connect deeply with residents, and provide leadership to our team. I’ve proudly been a part of the Regents Garden Bateman team from 2022. I began my journey here as a Personal Care Worker and, earlier in 2025, took on the role of Resident Concierge. Working in both roles has given me a well-rounded perspective and helped me understand the needs of our residents from different angles. This experience has equipped me with greater knowledge and insight, allowing me to better support those in my care. What inspires me most about my work is the opportunity to brighten someone’s day, whether through a kind conversation, helping with a request, or simply being present when they need support. Every small gesture matters. Working alongside a dedicated and compassionate team has been incredibly rewarding. It’s a privilege to contribute to an environment where residents feel respected, supported, and genuinely valued. I take great pride in being part of the Regents Garden team that is committed to excellence and to redefining quality of life for those we serve.

Kerry Hanlon

CHEF MANAGER

My name is Kerry Hanlon and I'm the Chef Manager at Regents Garden Bateman. I've proudly served Regents Garden since 1999, leading a dedicated and hardworking kitchen team. My primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and to provide nourishing meals for our residents. In addition to overseeing the kitchen's daily activities, I ensure that we accommodate residents with specific dietary requirements, including texture-modified meals, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, and more. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is the opportunity to express my creativity through cooking. I continually experiment with new recipes and presentation styles to keep our menu exciting and appealing. The positive feedback I receive from residents and their families is a testament to the passion and innovation I bring to my work.

There is a spring back in her step these days. We suspect now that Mum was really lonely living independently.

Mum was always well groomed but looking back she had lost interest in her appearance. Now she doesn't leave her room without combing her hair and applying lipstick. It's wonderful to have Mum back to her old self.

It is a very beautiful place and very comfortable. The meals are excellent, as good as any restaurant. There is no washing to do which is wonderful, it all just arrives back in my room!
