Empowering Our Community: Regents Garden Group and Dementia Australia

At Regents Garden, we believe that care goes beyond services—it’s about creating a community where compassion, understanding, and connection flourish. That’s why we are so proud to share the wonderful success of our recent initiative, which raised $3,694.50 for Dementia Australia.

This donation is more than a number—it is a symbol of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

Dementia Cuppa Time: Awareness Roadshow and Fundraising

Rather than a large, formal campaign, our “Dementia Awareness Roadshow and Fundraising” was warmly combined with Dementia Australia’s “Dementia Cuppa Time” program, creating meaningful connections in a simple, personal way.

The heart of this initiative was empowering the people within our own community. We encouraged our staff, residents, and family members to become advocates in their own circles. The response was incredible: heartfelt conversations, shared stories, and a genuine commitment to raising awareness.

Every conversation sparked through this initiative is a step toward reducing the stigma around dementia and fostering a more compassionate environment in our aged care communities. By talking, listening, and understanding, we are helping to build a society where every person living with dementia feels valued and supported.

Building a Dementia-Friendly Community: A Heartfelt Thank You

We are deeply grateful to Dementia Australia, our dedicated staff, residents, and family members for their collaboration and contributions. This success is a powerful reminder that when we empower our community, we can create a more resilient, understanding, and dementia-friendly world.

Together, we are not just raising funds—we are nurturing care, connection, and compassion every step of the way.
